Now you can recapture those fun times out of the past with a "Gay Sway" being sponsored by Agape Metropolitan Community Church of Fort Worth. New Pastor Named At Dallas MCC The Metropolitan Community Church of Dallas has named the Reverend James C. Harris as pastor of the 150-member congregation. A native of Fort Smith, Arkansas (and also formerly of Dallas), Rev. Harris brings with him a varied and colorful background as a Baptist minister, U.S. Army Reserve 1st Lieutenant, and former member of the executive board of the Teamster's Union Local 208 during the time he was a heavy duty truck driver. Rev. Harris has also previously served in MCC congregations in Santa Monica and North Hollywood, California. Rev. Harris has stressed his particular outreach as being to "all human beings who have been ignored or suppressed within their former church affiliations, with special concern for women, blacks and Chicanos."
