Transcript w NOVEMBER 1970 PAGE 27 Dots the above face look familiar to you? Don't know where he got the uniform for the picture, must have borrowed it from "Big George." it's a wonder the big boss doesn't make him work in it. The mans name is "Happy" and he has a man s«e job running the double RR better known as the Red Room. Happy is what the name implies, doing a great job makes him Happy and the crowd at this fun dance bar proves it. If you want a warm feeling and a great time, spend it in the RR with Happy and his friends. Mr. Cooper had best have the tilt fixed on his machine or Happy will beat "Big George" and the machine might get worked on with an Ax by the later. Sunday brunch at the RR is a must, much better than Brennans and friendly too. There's a whole new thing happening in Houston. The town has finally discovered that men can look good in good-looknhg clothes - - something we've known for years. Now, all of a sudden, stores have been trying to hire men as fashion models, not just as escorts for girls on q runway. There's only one hang-up. You can't just walk down a runway like you walk down a street and you can't do turns like a woman. To solve this obvious problem, Model Man has opened its doors to teach men how to do their own thing as it should be done. The purpose of Model Man is to make its ' graduates much more hireable than in the past. Interestingly enough, Model Man has already found that some have been signing up for the five-week course who have no intentions of modeling but just want to improve their general appearance. The school — — and make no mistake about it, it is a school — — is being run and managed by professionals. This kind of work, both teaching and doing, has been a large part of their lives.
