Transcript T RIP RAPS BACK In response to the letters directed toward the Rappin' with Rip column from both Mr. Cyr and the name withheld, 1 would pointedly suggest that these two individuals reread the column, but this time with their eyes open. I have asked no one to assume the position of second-class citizen or to stay in his place, but rather to be responsible for one's own actions and behavior. I would also like to relate to Mr. Cyr that the nature of the column is not to condemn the queens, or gay guys, nor has it; but rather pointing out those areas of behavior that have in the past been unhealthy pitfalls and problem etiologies for members of the community. My reason for not including material about women is because I would not want to be so presumptious as to assume I have enough knowledge about our Gay sisters to adequately speak about or for them.
