Description | This is the third volume of the 19th century publication Die renaissance in Italien. It is a collection of photographs of building decorations in stone and terra cotta from the Italian Renaissance. A table of contents lists all the photographs arrranged by location. Detailed information such as name of the building, which part of the building was taken in the photograph, the year it was built, and the name of the architect are also included if available. It has also included page reference to Cicerone written by Jacob Burckhardt. |
