July 3, Uniting Church, El Camino and Reseda, Clear Lake City The Slide and Sound Show "Boys and Girls Together," by Hat tie Thurlow and Kay Whyburn, made with sexist textbooks now in use in Texas schools, will be the feature of our meeting. Current plans for our fourth annual textbook protest before Texas Education Agency in Austin will be discussed. For those of you who were not here to share our satisfying labor of last summer, come learn how to work out your frustrations by reviewing textbooks for sexism. There's plenty of it.... |
