Transcript DISSOLUTION; Dissolution of Texas'N.O.W. may occur only"by mail ballot approval of not less than two- thirds (2/3) of the members of Texas N.O.W. Upon dispplufcion of Texas N.O.W. , the State Council shall, after paying or majcing provisions for the* payment of all liabilities of the organization, distribute all tha remaining assets, if any, among the local chapters and convening chapters in proportion to their member- A. These bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds (2/3) ypteiof those duly registered Texas N.O.W. members present and votingi at the State Convention, provided: That the amendment has been proposed by a majority Of the members present and voting at a State Council meeting or by a chapter or conveningichapter'having representation on the State Council, or by a petition or five per cent (5%) of the membership of Texas N.O.W.; and 2. That written notice of the proposed amendment has been mailed to all Texas N.O.W. members with the call to the State Convention. R. These bylaws may be amended by a mail referendum in which two-thirds (2/3) of the ballots returned within sixty ,.(60) days show approval of the pro- - posed amendment, provided:. 1. That the amendment has been proposed by two- thirds (2/3) of the members present and voting at a State Council meeting or by a petition of twenty per cent (20%) of the membership of ... Texas N.O.W.; '2. That the mail ballot has been preceded by an announcement, sent thirty (30) days prior to the mail ballot, to each member of Texas N.O.W..
