Beggining Feb. 4f we will be registering voters every other Saturday. Join with us Feb.4 at Almeda Mall, we need three people per three hour period. Registration will be from 10:00 to 4:00. (3) Lloyd Doggett has been recommended to National NOW-PAC for endorsement for the position of Senator from Texas. Pat Kuhlmann is heading a list of volunteers in the Bay Area working for Lloyd. If you can assist at least one night a week for phone banking, stuffing envelopes, etc. please contact Pat at 488-3278. This will be every Thursday except for our meeting nights. (4) Texas NOW-PAC has suggested that each chapter contact it's membership and ask for at least $2.00 from each member for our state PAC. Please bring it with you to the meeting or mail to Bay Area NOW. Make your check out to Texas NOW-PAC. If you send $50.00 or more please include your complete address and occupation. (5) NOW-PAC has endorsed Walter Mondale for the presidency. (6; Jane Wells Schooley is running for Congress from the state of Pennsylvania. Jane is the former NOW VP-Action.
