Write to the Chamber of Commerce of at least one city in a non-ratified state and let them know that you will be unable to travel there because of their failure to ratify the E.R.A. Also, even if you do not live in Rep. Jack Brooks' Congressional district, you should write to him and urge him to support the E.R.A. extension, H.J. Res. 638. As a member of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Brooks represents all Texans and all Americans. Our letters may help swing his position to YES away from uncommitted on the extension.
