Transcript CHAP TER BUSINESS Publicity When you are in charge of the program meeting, please get your news release information to me as soon as you can—three weeks ahead, if possible* I have to meet newspaper deadlines, some of which are two weeks ahead of the meeting date. Thanks. —Judy Blanchard 839 Beachcomber Lane Houston TX 77062 488-1718 To defray printing costs, several BANOW members suggest that we sell advertising. Current proposal is to allocate the outside half page—which would be visible when the newsletter is mailed. The half page would sell for $30, with fractions available for proportional prices. This effort would require a person to obtain (or coordinate) the ads. This person would not be the current newsletter editor. Members with strong opinions on this plan should voice then.to the newsletter editor (see below). Upcoming Program Meeting Conduct I would like toAan hour long workshop for an upcoming business meeting on "Strategies for Dealing wilh Sexism in Interviews.11 However, I need two other people to work with me (3 hours maximum preparation time, plus the meeting). The program will be modelled after one presented by Dr. Jan Bentz, University of Oklahoma.
