Transcript April 1974 BROADSIDE Page 5 FCC (continued) Tanice Blue attended the NAB convention as a spokesperson for NOW, and was invited to join the panel in a workshop on "Relations with Citizens Groups" where she acquitted herself admirably. Tanice also was able to ask Barbara Tordan a pointed question about the Quello and Holcomb appointments to the FCC. Tordan admitted skepticism about Quello but said she thought Holcomb was qualified by virtue of his EEOC position and, further, because he was a "man of the cloth". Write to Senator Tohn Pastore, Chairman, Communications Subcommittee, Washington, DC 20510 to protest both the Quello and Holcomb appointments. HCWPC ELECTS OFFICERS The Harris County Women's Political Caucus met on March 23 and elected the following new officers: Barbara Lane-Farley (Chair); Sharon Moline-Vincent (Co-Chair); Pat Carr (Vice Chair - Internal); Kathy Whitmire (Vice Chair - External); Susan Heavy (Secretary); and Sylvia Garcia (Treasurer).
