We appreciate the special efforts of Nancy Molleda. of Fort Worth, Jane Hickie and Elaine Wheeler, TWPC Vice-Chair of Finance, in securing this contribution.Don1t foget now -— one month to go, so next time you pull out your checkbook, remember the Looby Fund!!! 00 SDEC FOLLOW-UP As you may recall, the Policy Council in March endorsed the candidacies of two women State Democratic Executive Committee mdmbers for seats on the Democratic National Committee. We are happy to report that Alicia Chacon of El Paso, one of the women we endorsed, won 1 of those three seats to the DNC. Congratulations, Alicia. One other woman, whom we did not endorse, was also elected. It should be clarified that these two positions for women on the DNC were secured by a motion made by Gretchen Raatz, TWPC Lobbyist and SDEC member, at the March 15 meeting of the SDEC in Dallas. The motion carried by a very significant vote of 40-24. We
