Transcript HOT SIRENS AT NEW TIME AND DAY •SIRENS, a program for Women by Women has been moved to a more convenient time and day. The program is now aired at 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Those wanting to get a program together to be aired can attend the Wednesday night meetings from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. KPFT Radio 90.1 FM. CREDIT UNION MEETING •The Houston Area Feminist Federal Credit Union will hold its annual meeting March 14, 1977. The place is Capital National Bank, the third floor auditorium at 7 o'clock. At the meeting a status report on the credit union will be given and the board of directors and credit committee will be elected by the attending membership. Anyone who is a verified member of the credit union can be nominated or self-nominate for an office. Contact HAFFCU, 527-9108, for further information or nominations. SOUTHEASTERN GAY CONFERENCE •The Second Annual Southeastern Gay Conference will be held in Chapel Hill NC on April 1-3. The celebration of the gay lifestyle will include a number of women--Karla Jay, Jean O'Leary, Loretta Lotman, and possibly Rita Mae and Elaine. Registration before March is $5 and promises free housing. Write Carolina Gay Association, Student Union, Box 39, UNC-CH, Chapel Hill NC 27514, or call (919) 942-2039. -Atlanta Lesbian Feminist Alliance Newsletter GAY ALCOHOLICS GROUPS •There are probably over 10,000 gay people in Houston who have a drinking problem. For those who want to quit drinking, there are now two groups to help them. The first, Lambda AA, is an Alcoholics Anonymous group for gay men and women which was begun over a year ago. Lambda can be reached through Intergroup at 772-7214. The second group, WOW, is an AA group specifically for lesbians. They began only a few months ago and need help to let other lesbians know they exist. WOW (Women Oriented Women) meets Wednesdays at 8 pm at First Unitarian Church, 5210 Fannin, in the large room upstairs.
