Transcript Bay Area NOW Member Questionnaire We are asking Bay Area Chapter membars who have not participated recently in our activities to please answer a few questions for us. We want to enlarge and strengthen our Chapter and plan activities and events that will encourage participation of many more people. In these critical and hostile times, women's rights and gains are under heavy attack by the forces that would deny women basic freedoms and constitutional protection and severely restrict women's options. We need your help in this struggle to bring all women into the mainstream of American life politically, economically, socially and educationally. Please take a few minutes and answer some questions. How did you hear about Bay Area NOW? Have you ever been to a local chapter meeting? If so, why did you stop attending? (Feel free to include any constructive criticism that will help us plan more effective and informative meetings). If you have not attended a meeting, is there a reason that we should know about and can remedy? Would you like to become active? If so, what issues are most important to you, that you feel the Chapter should be concerned with? If you cannot be personally active at this time, would you, if contacted, write letters, send public opinion messages, and make phone calls to your legislators on important issues? Do you know others who might be interested in our issues and our Chapter? Please list, (if you wish to remain anonymous when we contact these people, please indicate). Comments: (Feel free to offer constructive criticism that will help us grow). Please send to: Pat Kuhlmann, 2.002 Richvale, Houston, Texas 7?062. Thank you for your time. (if you axe currently a participating member and this is attached to your newsletter, please forgive, it was inadvertent. Thanks for your time, and answer this if you wish).
