The WAND Survey The recent Stonewall celebration has made us at The Wand think about our roots, and about the direction that we want to be taking in the future. When The Wand started in the mid 80's, we were among the only womyn/lesbian publications availabale to the community. Since then, we have had many faces, and many expressions of the feelings and concerns buzzing about in the community. Also since then, we have seen a positive growth of lesbian/gay publications in Houston as well as around the U.S. So, as part of a mid-life crisis, we wanted to once again get the pulse of the Houston community in order to continue to publish useful information which is easily accessible and free. Please fill out the survey, and provide us with feedback. Please feel free to include additional information, comments, opinions, etc. And remember, we are ALWAYS looking for fresh faces, new blood, and different insights. We are a part of Houston lesbian herstory; let's continue to serve each other's needs. 1. Where do you pick up The Wand? 2.
