Organizations which have been represented at the meetings which formed WOMEN'S LOBBY '81 ALLIANCE have included Houston Area NOW, Bay Area NOW, Harris County Women's Political Caucus, Gay Political Caucus, and Texas Abortion Rights Action League. Information will be passed along from lobbyists in Austin to the Alliance Council to the Legislative Chairs of participating organizations, who will see that the information is passed along to all the members of each organization, so they can take action on an individual basis by calling, writing, or visiting their legislators. A workshop will be held on Saturday, January 24, at the First Unitarian Church, from 9-3. Speakers will inform participants about the issues the Alliance will be monitoring, and give tips on how to lobby effectively. The issues which will be monitored include ERA, Reproductive rights, Lesbian/Gay Riights, and the implementa tion of the amendment passed Nov. 4 concerning married couples' property rights.
