Transcript May 1982 BROADSIDE PAGE 3 ELECTION OF OFFICERS Spring Branch-Memorial NOW originally was going to have a program concerning Motherhood as it's May meeting but during the April meeting it was decided that we should try to get the by-laws established and elect officers. This meeting will be at the home of Audrey Yates- Crawford and we will share wine & cheese. It is important that members attend and it is fine for interested people who have not yet joined to come. It was decided to elect a President, Treasurer and Vice-Pres./Secretary. A Legislative chair is needed to represent the chapter at the Women's Lobby Alliance meetings and task forces should be established to cover various issues. The meeting will start at 7:30pm and the address is 12218 Taylorcrest (off Gessner). LABOR UNION WOMEN MAY DAY (May 1) has been traditionally a day recognizing the Labor union movement. Barbara Bensch, chair of Texas State NOW Labor Task Force is seeking to contact NOW members who are also union members.
