Come celebrate the release of Diana
Jones' first compact disc recording Saturday,
April 13th at Ms. B's in the Ranch. Diana Jones,
the Austin-based singer/songwriter/
guitarist, is known for her impassioned songs and
her distinctly beautiful voice.
With a musical style that combines folk,
country, pop, and jazz, Diana Jones engages the
audience in a delightful journey for both the soul
and the mind. Jones' original music conveys vivid
images, heartfelt truth and poignant desire. With
humor, grace, and insight, Jones both enlightens
Jones is a frequent headliner at Austin-
area clubs and is currently touring the major
cities in Texas. She is regularly invited to perform
at the annual Lone Star Women's Music Festival
where she appears on both the main stage and
at the closing night campfire. She was last seen
in Houston at the Houston Women's Festival
(October 28, 1995) where she was a crowd

"Imagine Me" is eagerly anticipated by her many
fans. Jones will sign copies of her new CD after

event is produced by The Athena Art Project, a
non-profit organization supporting the artistic
endeavors of women.

Breast Cancer Prevention Study
The Breast Cancer Prevention Trial
(BCPT) is still seeking women at increased
risk for developing breast cancer to
participate in its ongoing study. Tamoxifen,
the most commonly prescribed and widely
studied cancer therapy in the world, is being
investigated to determine if it can be used to
reduce the development of breast cancer.
To be eligible for the Trial, a woman
must be at least 60 years old OR 35 to 59 with
some risk factors that would increase her
likelihood of developing breast cancer.
Trial participants in the Houston area
are screened and treated at M. D. Anderson
Cancer Center. If you would like a risk
assessment to determine if you might be
eligible for this study, please contact
