Transcript NATIONAL NOW RAPE TASK FORCE Received national TF newsletter Oct. 18. Is splendid. Packed with tons of info on Joan Little's trial; status of national legislation and various states' legislation regarding rape; needs and wants of national TF. My best compliments to Mary Ann Largen, Coordinator for 3 years. Call me for a copy of the newsletter. *** Largen gave 6 pages of Little trial summary. Thing that hit me the hardest was the fact that Joan Little Defense Fund is still many thousand dollars in debt. Largen urges us to send money quickly. JL Defense Fund, PO Box 1003, Durham, N. Carolina 27701. *** If activists cannot pay the bills on this landmark victory for rape victims/minorities/^romen in prisons/poor people we may not have future opportunities to win like this again. Lawyers have to eat, too. Houston Rape Crisis Coalition also needs your support. Memberships are only $3 a year. Without the help of the community (which is you!) we cannot continue to do a lot of the things that we would like to, such as mail our newsletters with updates on local action and legislation. Leave money and fan mail at Women's Center, Attn: HRCC Treasurer. thanks, alice shrader We do it House of Coleman is more than a fine print shop.
