How can you be world famous if you don't show up when the reporter and photographer are there? (Janice Allen from the Post came out to interview us about our co-op for an article on co-ops.) Well, you won't get a second chance to be world famous, but you will get a second chance at that pineapple. Come over to the Center at 1 p.m. on Feb. 15 (Susan B. Anthony's birthday;. Pick up your produce and sign up for a new shopping date, or if you haven't joined yet, find out what it's about and sign up. Or call the Center and leave a message far Jan Pierce or Ann Robinson, TASK FORCE REPORT: WOMEN IN SPORTS Thanks to all of you far your letters, telegrams, and telephone calls concerning the Holt Amendment. The Amendment was recently neutralized in the Senate with Senator Lloyd Bentsen voting on the "right" side. Now we need some letters to the President, Mrs. Ford, and our congress people concerning adequate funding of Public Law 93-380, Rep. Patsy Mink's bill calling far various programs and studies to ensure equality in all phases of education far women. Please write and urge that the law receive adequate funding. Women in Sports has received a number of phone calls recently from women who axe interested in some type of physical activity, but who aren't quite up to the hectic pace of football or basketball. How about some exercise classes? Exercising alone isn't much fun, but, as we all know, togetherness is something else. This isn't merely far the overweight. I doubt that 20% of our membership is getting proper exercise and you'd be surprised at how much better you'll feel once you do get into shape. Come jump, run, bend, grunt and groan your way into a sense of well- being. Sign up at the Women's Center. Jan Cunningham
