Transcript One final comment—I'd like to welcome Pokey home from her holiday wanderings. She's been busy meeting and greeting feminist sisters everywhere, and (as Sidney Abbot now knows; Pokey's lips have earned their place in the S & L Hall of Fame. (Congratulations, Pokey;) For further discussion of this matter, be sure to come to our next business/program meeting, Thurs., Feb. 13. See ya then. Marion Friedman TASK FORCE REPORT: CHILD CARE Help.' Help.' Help.' We need volunteers now to help acquire information on day care centers. Call me, Dianna, at 772-7393. I have the questionnaires and lists of centers in each zip code area. I will mail or deliver them to your home. If you work, take a list and see what you can do in the next month. (Call the centers and find out which ones are open on Saturday, or open until 6:00 p.m. or later, and do those ) If you can see only 2 or 3» that will still help us tremendously. Remember, we need to help each other, and child care is a priority. Dianna Vejtasa Peggy Felix KPRC WOMEN'S ADVISORY COUNCIL REPORT BROADSIDE'S deadline finds the Pilot Program Committee of the KPRC-WAC In the midst of negotiations over broadcast of a half hour pilot to be called WIDE WORLD OF WOMEN. The station has agreed to meet all production costs except the salaries of the women producers. So, it is a case of "to do it for free or not to do it far free," that is, unless one of the four area corporations contracted comes through. (Three of the four are interested and believe the pilot and anticipated series have merit;. If all goes as hoped and planned, the program will air either Friday, February 14, 6:30 - 7, or Saturday, February 15, 7 - 7:30. Please watch the Post and Chronicle for announcements.
