Transcript 1974 It hasn't all been peaches and cream. Some of us have lost our jobs, lovers, children, fingers, our Esr.cec, ratience, blue voting cards, softball games, our innocence. Sometimes we tried our hardest and lost our hope. We've been condemned we've been raped <-ie've been laughed at. We've been through the Bellaire Mothers Club, vibrator fires, Gloria kissing Harla, Wonder Women, "Thank you MasKed Man" letters, speculum puppets, points of personal privelege, and rumors and turkeys and ^nitwark enough enough enough. We have sometimes threaten.;u each other. We have sometimes been paralyzed. We have sometimes hidden. We've cried, but not often in public. We've shared a river of sweat blood beer kisses laughing tears crying tears at times shooting the rapids, at time floating endlessly. We've danced together, our soft cheeks gliding by, We've shared our flannel shirts. It hasn't all been peaches and cream. But there were some toasted marshmallows in there. Pokey Anderson
