Transcript WOMEN INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE "WOMEN IN THE ARTS" WORKSHOP AT THE TEXAS STATE N.O.W. CONVENTION-MARCH 23,24 & 25TH *JOAN LARKIN WILL BE HERE. JOAN LARKIN,nationally known poet, playwright and publisher for Out and Out Press, will be giving a poetry reading of her work. *WOMEN POETS: Please send up to five original poems, plus brief autobiographical sketch and photograph if you have one available, to be used as part of the "Women in the Arts" workshop. There is a possibility of your being published in a forthcoming book on Texas women writers and artists. Please send all to: Ann Caldwell, 703 Bolivar, Denton, Texas, 7620. Include a S.A.S.E. for returns. DEADLINE: MARCH 15, 1979. *WOMEN WRITERS: If you have attended a Women Writers Workshop at anytime, please send information on the workshop to the above address. This vital information will be used in the workshop. *WOMEN IN THE VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS: We are now accepting work to be used in "Women in the Arts" workshop. Possible publication. Entries must include a S.A.S.E., a $3.00 handling fee, and a biolgraphical sketch. It is optional to also include a slide of the artist and philosophy concerning the work. Indicate if you will be able to participate in the workshop and in what manner. Categories include: 2-3 D in all media: max. 5 slides Video: max. 1, summary helpful (T-32 or L-Betamax cassett) Performance and or Mixed or Multi-Media Presentations: max. 1, outline helpful, any manner of presentation acceptable. If your art work does not fit any of the categories you may use your own judgement on how to present your work or interest in participation.
