The tackles basic assignment is to block the LB on or to the inside, Against the even he will either get on the LB quick or he will block what we call a combination with the guard. . o«V o<&V "On the LB quick" "Combination" There are two other situations that the tackle must be aware of— (1) His LB stunting into the guard—center gap or (2) The down linemen being so strong the guard cannot handle him.
