Team finished 2nd in the Oklahoma Intercollegiates and upset Oklahoma St. in a match in 1960. Team is improving fast and should give a fine account of themselves in this tournament. Rice University—Coached by Jim Deal. Team improving each year and will be led by Dave Larson and Leigh Masterson. Dave and Leigh were runner-up in the Golfcrest 4 ball championship in 1960\ They will probably play together this year and should be in contention for the Low Two Ball Championship. SMU—Coached by Graham Ross. Coach Ross says his team will be improved over last year. Two of the members of the team will include Ross Teter and Jack Little. Both are very fine players and have won several tournaments.
