After her first season at Baylor, her overall 12-year collegiate record of 325-67 ranks her second among active Division I coaches in winning percentage with a mark of .829. Although she is renowned for her on-the- court coaching, she really shines when it comes to recruiting, both players and fans. Since coming to Baylor, Hogg has made it a priority to meet as many people of the Waco and Baylor communities as possible. As a result, the Lady Bears set numerous attendance records during the 1994-95 season. Five of the program's top 10 crowds and three of the top four largest home crowds occured last season. For the first time ever, the Baylor women averaged over 1,000 fans per game. Hogg is the founder of the Lady Techsters basketball program. Under her guidance, Louisiana Tech won the first NCAA championship in women's basketball in 1982. Her teams hold the national records for both consecutive wins (54) and most wins in a season (40 in 1980). Hogg came to Baylor from Little Rock, Ark., where she served as Vice- President for Resource Development for the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. From 1988-90 she was Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Development at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from Louisiana Tech in health/physical education and recreation. 1994-95 Record: 13-14 Starters Returning-Lost: 3-2 Letterwinners Returning-Lost: 7-2 1995 Team Averages (PPG, RPG): 70.7, 43.6 Top Returnees: Tonia Harris (10.2 ppg, 7.8 rpg) Halley Bradley (9.7 ppg, 4.4 rpg) 1995 SWC Record (Finish): 4-10 (7th) 1995 SWC Tournament: Lost to SMU, 68-83 All-Time Record: 326-319 (.505) All-Time SWC Record: 54-138 (.282) Hogg Year-by-Year Year School Record Pet. 1974-75 Louisiana Tech 13-9 .591 1975-76 Louisiana Tech 19-10 .655 1976-77 Louisiana Tech 22-9 .710 1977-78 Louisiana Tech 20-8 .714 1978-79 Louisiana Tech 34-4 .895 1979-80 Louisiana Tech 40-5 .889 1980-81 Louisiana Tech 34-0 1.000 1981-82 Louisiana Tech 35-1 .972 1982-83 Louisiana Tech 35-1 .972 1983-84 Louisiana Tech 31-2 .939 1984-85 Louisiana Tech 29-4 .879 1994-95 Baylor 13-14 .481 Overall 12 Years 321-69 .823 Baylor 1 Year 13-14 .481 Numerical Roster 12 LaToya Ellis 20 Tonia Harris 21 Halley Bradley 23 Bonnie Byas 24 Amy Alcala 32 Tasia Wright 34 Christie Holler 40 Tifney Kelly 42 Kacy Moffitt 43 Angie Wilson 45 Amanda Mooney 53 Shannon Applebury Beat Roster No. Name P Ht.
