Transcript | THE BERLIN IRON BRIDGE COMPANY, The above cut represents a 65-foot span built by us for Warren County, Ohio, in 1884. The top chord of this bridge is made of two channels latticed, instead of a cover plate as is usually the case, a form of construction we recommend for bridges of this class. The above cut represents a two span bridge built by us at Westfield Station, Conn., in 1880, and consists of two spans of 40 feet each, with a roadway 12 feet wide in the clear. Each span consists of three panels, and has not only an ornamental appearance, but the bridge has great rigidity. EAST BERLIN, CONNECTICUT, U. S. A. |
