This improvement is of such a nature as must appeal to you and arouse your interest. While we have not heard from you since sending our last catalog we are hopeful that the purchase you were interested in making at that time has been deferred so as to permit you to examine, with a view of purchasing, our latest invention, the "Slumber" davenport. The accompanying catalog #26 illustrates all new designs. A study of the illustrations will give you some idea of how beautiful and desirable these new davenports are but it is unfortunate that we are unable to bring out in the picture their real beauty and luxuriousness. Only in the actual possession of one can its many points of merit be realized and enjoyed. No other davenport offers the luxuriousness of the "Slumber" davenport; none equals it in Its completeness as a bed. The seat has a width of 25 Inches, as wide as a couch and softer, so that it can be used as a couch with even greater comfort. As a bed there is a separate sleeping surface with a bright wholesome art ticking mattress. Tne width as a bed is 50 inches, ample for two people. The full head and foot board will hold the pillows in place and allow the bed clothes to be tucked in. Under the seat there is a roomy wardrobe box that is really dust proof, which advantage is not found in other makes. In short no two purpose piece of furniture fulfills each separate requirement to such perfection as the "Slumber" davenport. To secure your order now we will allow a discount from the price list of 25^, which is one fourth off. We will allow you to keep the davenport in your home for thirty days, to give it a thorough trial and If you are willing to part with it at the end of the thirty days you may return it at cur expense. To receive your acknowledgment of our catalog will be much appreciated. May we expect it? Yours very truly, The G. F. Streit Mfg. Co.
