Transcript | Mott Modern Plumbing 'Plate 1098-A, Bathroom "Volney" IHE outstanding and attractive feature of this bathroom is the arrangement of the lavatory and toilet table supported on heavy iron brackets covered with vitreous china shields. The unobstructed floor space is easily kept clean and will appeal particularly to the housekeeper. The water closet is placed outside of the bathroom, which has its obvious advantages where provision foronlyone bathroom is made. The imperial porcelain bath is of the built-in type, which lends itself to the shower with curtain. T'ilirjg-Thc only decoration in this room is in the frieze where a delicate empire design is used in white and gold or in pale green and gold if desired. The balance of the room is perfectly plain except for a single line of color in the floor. Square titles set with straight joint are used for both the floor and Glazed or vitreous titles for the floor being a matter of individual taste. |
