Lunch: bring a sack lunch or buy at a nearby place. Afternoon: woodland birding. Directions: Go north on 1-45 to Huntsville, turn right (east) on U.S. 190 Go 25 miles (about 30 minutes). As you approach the lake and causeway, pull off to the right on the state boat ramp. That's our meeting place at 8:00 am. Clearing House deadline for observations for September.
