FORTHCOMING ACTIVITIES arcs Jan. 30 •. • .(Sun.) Field Trip Meet at Buffalo Stadium 7 AM A coin was tossed at the Jan. 6 meeting to set the date for this trip. Outdoor Nature Club's Field Trip Meet; Cross Roads at Rosharon, Texas 9 This is primarily a herpetological trip to be led by Mr. Jesse Haver, but we have been informed by the leaders wife, Edna Haver, that the Ornithology Group should look this place over as the birding is very promising. We thought it a good idea to take them up on it. Vaio knows y_ou may like snakes, too. (Sat. & Sun.)....Texas Ornithological Society's Annual Meeting - College Station, Texas 1:30 We think of our readers as birders, birdwatchers or birdlovers. It makes little difference in which category you may fall we feel sure you are all interested in the continued success of our state organization (membership in 1954 approximately 400) . Our group with the help of other members of the Outdoor Nature Club worked hard to give it a good start and it is proving every day in every way to be everything we dreamed it would be. Therefore, we are urging all T.O.S. members, O.G. members and those requesting our paper to attend this meeting. A banquet will be held following the meeting and a field trip is planned for the next morning. Our group was told they have high hopes that Roger T. Peterson will attend this meeting. The February issue of the T.O.S. NEWSLETTER will contain final details concerning this meeting. March 3... (Thurs.) Business Meeting 5815 Schuler 8 PM PM AM PM PM
