Group field trip: Texas Spring
Round-Up, a joint trip with the
Houston Audubon Society. The
Round-Up complements and does
not conflict with the Audubon
Society's Birdathon, which has
already been announced. The
goal of the Round-Up is to have
a fun day bird-watching during
the peak of spring migration.
The secondary goal is to compile reports from participants
to document changes in the
occurrence of birds in our
area. Form parties with your
birding acquaintances and bird
anywhere you like. For your
report keep a separate list of
the species and their numbers
for each county in which you
bird. Report forms and checklists will be handed out at the
membership meetings, can be
picked up at the Edith Moore
Sanctuary, or can be obtained
by phoning or writing the compiler, David Matson, 3531 Dur-
hill, Houston TX 77025, (713)
668-3120. Please send completed forms to the same address. All reports will be forwarded to the Clearing House.

LAST CALL FOR OG PACIFIC NORTHWEST TRIP!
We almost have one full van for
the Pacific Northwest trip being run
July 18-27 for the OG by Peregrine
Tours. Ben Feltner wil lead the trip,
with Bob Behrstock as co-leader if we
overflow the first van.
We will visit all the important
birding areas in the western half of
Washington, plus Victoria on Vancouver
Island, and enjoy three opportunities
to see pelagic specialties, two ferry
rides and the popular pelagic trip out
of Westport, WA.
For a complete itinerary, call
441-1220, or write Peregrine's new
office address at 1521 W. St. Mary's
Rd., Box 250, Tuscon AZ 85745.
