Transcript Clearinghouse May 2001 David Sarkozi There were 209 species reported for May, 9679 individuals, and 1179 reports. The most numerous reported species was White Ibis (733 reported) followed by Semipalmated Sandpiper (611). Twenty-seven species were represented by a single individual There were lots of late migrant reported, perhaps more because of birders getting out more late in foe month. Keep those reports coming, foe work you put into sending in this data is what makes our checklist so accurate. The format this month is Species, date, County(location) # of birds, Observer. Those birds that are listed at uncommon to abundant in A Birder's Checklist ofthe Upper Texas Coast 8th edition for the whole month are summarized. Birds in Bold are very rare by the checklist and those underlined are new to foe checklist for that week. Notes are requested for those species listed in bold. Not all notes received for November are printed here because of space limitations.
