Transcript The Spoonbill A Publication of the Ornithology Group Of the Houston Outdoor Nature Club February 2003 Vol. 52 No. 2 March Program BIRDS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA David Bradford will discuss the birds of southern California from Mono Bay to San Diego and inland to the Salton Sea, the Carrizo Plains and up Mt. Pinos. His photographic tour will include pelagic birds seen out of Ventura on the way to Santa Cruz Island, the island scrub jay, and birds seen on the way to the Coronado Islands. David has led birding tours to California for the past three winters and plans to lead another in January of 2004. He is past OG chairman, vice- chairman, field coordinator, programs coordinator and librarian. When time allows, he presents our Learning Corner. He is presently serving on the Houston Audubon Society board as Vice-President of Programs and Field Trips.
