It is essential to a highly successful count, therefore, that all of us work extra hard on the count, which is on December 23 this year. The field check list has been revised to facilitate recording species in the field and tabulating the final results. The following are responsibilities of all members participating in the count: 1. Make sure your name appears in the upper right-hand corner of your party cheek list. It serves two purposes. a. Compiling ;an accurate, alphabetical listing of participants for the "Audubon Field Notes." b. Determining who identified or listed any rare or unusual species, 2. Return the check lists to your area leader at the Snyders following the count. They will subsequently be returned to the coordinator. 3. Pay 50£ per person to your area leader. This is to help defray the cost'of publishing our count in "Audubon Field Notes." 4. Bring a covered dish to the Snyders1. They will supply coffee and meat. 5. Bring dry, clean footwear for the Snyders. 6. Please, PLEASE, do not drive on the Snyders' lawn. This plea has been unheeded the past two years and has resulted in considerable lawn damage. |
