Lamar Senior High School at 8:00 p.m. Regular bi-monthly meeting of the ORNITHOLOGY GROUP AT 8:00 p. m. in the Projection Room of the Fondren Library at Rice Institute. The nominating committee will present their slate of new officers. We will have an opportunity to share with Dr. Hardin Craig the pleasure of viewing some of the library's wildlife slides. This should be a considerable pleasure in as much as these include a miscellaneous group of slides given to the library by Dr. Baughman of Rockport, as well as slides prepared by the Denver Museum of Natural History partly from their own habitat groups and partly of Colorado wildlife taken in its natural habitat. Regular meeting of the Outdoor Nature Club. Mrs. Wanda Henderson McNitzky will speak on "A panorama of astronomy." Museum of Natural History lecture on "India" at the Prudential Auditorium. Please plan to participate. Your favorite birding area and your particular count are needed to get a complete listing. If you don't feel confident of your identifying ability, team up with someone else. You may be a better "spotter" or may be invaluable in nailing down specific details to verify unusual speoies.
