Face was black with a warm brown head. The back and sides were warm brown with some black spotting. Masked Duck - D. Bradford October 28,1994 One basic plumaged Masked Duck with basic plumaged Ruddy Ducks in Teal Marsh at Attwater. A stiff tailed duck with erect tail. The crown was a solid dark brown Through the eye and below the eye were two solid, dark brown lines. Overall the bird was a darker, wanner brown than the nearby Ruddy Ducks. Least Grebe - D. Bradford October 2,1994 6 adults with slim pointed dark bills. Eyes were yellow. Numerous Pied-billed Grebes were present during observation. The Spoonbill, November 1994
