It will be used to present letters to the eo-editors and various other notes and miscellany received by us. The title is a combination of the descriptions of the voice of the Spoonbill given by Peterson, Texas field guide — "a low grunting croak" — and Pough — "low clucking and grunting sounds", Co-edp) Warblers Everywhere. Dear Sir; Warblers were everywhere in Galveston County Park hear League City on Sunday, April 24. Mary Belle and I saw twenty-two Warbler speoies as follows; Bay-breasted, Black-and-white, Blackburnian, Blackpoll, Blaek-throated Green, Blue-winged, Cerulean, Chestnut-sided, Connecticut, Golden-winged, Hooded, Kentucky, Myrtle, Ovenbird, Parula, Prothonotary, American Redstart, Tens-" nessee, Wilson's, Worm-eating, Yellow, and Yellowthroat. Golden-winged and Blue-winged Warblers were numerous and, along with them were what we believe to be both forms of Brewster's hybrid; namely, ;_jie golden-winged form and what might be called the blue-winged form. Other migrants worthy of note were Indigo and Painted Buntings, Blue and Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, Scarlet and Summer Tanagers, Red-eyed and White-eyed Vireos, and especially the Northern Waterthrush. Mary Belle saw a Western Tanager near our home in Taylor Lake Village on Monday. F. P. Kokesh .
