Transcript Volume XXV, No. November, 1976 PUBLISHED BY THE ORNITHOLOGY GROUP, OUTDOOR NATURE CLUB, HOUSTON, TEXAS A LETTER WE HATE TO PRINT 5027 Longmont Houston, Texas 77056 November 1, 1976 Miss Sarah Gordon, President Outdoor Nature Club 1745 Wroxton Court Houston, Texas 77005 Dear Sarah: As you know, I officially assumed the duties of Director of the Ornithology Group last May, and at the same time became a member of the ONC Board of Directors. My first official meeting with the board was In May, and my first official action was a motion to change the ONC membership procedures. That motion passed without dissenting votes. At the October meeting of the board, the motion was challenged. The matter was resolved in a manner such that I feel I have no tenable position on which to remain on the ONC Board. Accordingly, I hereby tender my resignation from the ONC Board. As I understand the club Constitution, my resignation from the Board automatically causes my resignation as Director of the O.G. I am truly sorry about that since I had enjoyed my brief tenure and looked forward to continued service to the O.G. 1 apologize to you and the O.G. for the Inconvenience this wilI cause. If you wish, I will continue as temporary director of the O.G. until a replacement is available. Very truly yours, Jack M.
