Weekend Visitors' Days at the Little Thicket Nature Sanctuary. Camp Friday and
May 16, Saturday nights If you desire. Eleven additional bluebird boxes have been
17, 18 assembled by some of our youngsters as family projects, and have been
placed. Recently the Taylors found eggs In a box previously placed by Ed,
so hopefully the children who worked so diligently on "their" boxes will
find them occupied In the near future. By the way, be sure to turn In
your weekend's bird sightings to Marian Taylor before you leave. This
should be a great weekend to see the Sanctuary at Its best....warm but not
hot, spring green, spring flowers still blooming, nesting birds vocally
marking the bouridarios of their territories...how can you stay away?!
This is the last Visitors' Day until next Fall, but don't neglect fhis
lovely place of yours during the summer; get familiar with It during all
Wednesday Bird Educational, Environmental and Research Group (that's a mouthful, but
May 16 does B.E.E.R. Group sound better?) will have a meeting at ELMNS at 7:30.
Plans for the Fish-eating Bird Survey will be discussed.
May 24 - June 8: Fish-eating Bird Survey....an excellent research project for your

out how you can help.

a must for newcomers to the area and the 0G. Send 25* and a self-addressed stamped
