Transcript | m tentative, look for field trips to occur the weekend after the membership meeting, and on the third Wednesday ofthe month. Also, watch for some special, overnight and international trips to be announced. Lee Richardson has agreed to collect aluminum cans for recycling, so remember to bring your empties to the meetings. It's healthy for the environment, and healthy for our budget. Getting The Spoonbill out on a timely basis each month is a priority. I encourage all members to contribute an article sometime during the year—your favorite bird, birding location, best birding day, identification tips— whatever whirls your feathers, and send it to Damien Carey. We've asked Damien, however, to stick to a deadline of the 15th of the month, so if your article is time-sensitive, get it in early! Also, we need assistance picking up TheSpoonbillfromthe printer, applying mailing labels, sorting and dropping off at the post office each month. The printer and Post Office are both downtown, so if that's convenient, we could sure use your help. Call me or Damien. We do not have a Chair Captain for the membership meetings, so please pitch in by setting up chairs early, and folding chairs after the meeting. We've got several great programs planned, and ideas in the works to improve communications, and perhaps even increase revenue. I'm looking forward to a fun year. It's a work in progress, but you can see what David Sarkozi is trying to do. He is soliciting comments from OG members. David says now is the time before he gets too committed to one course of action. The menu bar works for field trips only now. Other options yield an error.
