August Learning Corner The Checklist Committee and How they use Clearinghouse Data led by Ed Rozenberg Some folks say the Checklist Committee is more secretive than the Trilateral Commission. Ed's to tell us otherwise. Please join Ed and other OG members at 6:30 p.m. September Q Meeting Speaker "Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation- Saving Birds in an Oil Spill" by OG Chair Dan Coleman On Sunday, May 18 the OG officers and committee chairs met for 4 hours to discuss plans for the 1997-1998 OG year. There were nine of us in attendance—evidence alone that the OG leadership is enthusiastic about the approaching year. We discussed a wide and colorful spectrum of topics, and we want to share with you some of our ideas for the year. Our membership meetings will continue to be the first Monday of the month, August through May, excepting September, when Labor Day will push us to meet on the 8th. We will continue the popular Learning Corner'program, however, we need a new coordinator. This doesn't mean that you present the Learning Corner, just that you arrange for the topics and the speakers. One of the benefits of being the coordinator is having the privilege to select the topics! If you would like to coordinate the program this year, please call me. You will see an expanded Field Trip program this year, with weekend and weekday trips scheduled each month.
