There will be an all day hike around Grand Lake which is very scenic and has both water and woods birds. Bring lunch. The trip will break up about 3:30 p.m. October 20 First of the film-lecture programs sponsored by the Museum of Natural History at the Prudential Auditorium at 8:00 p.m. Alfred Wolff, the lecturer. His subject: *Ep-vpt today!/ October 25 ORNITHOLOGY GROUP FIELD TRIP led by Hob and Mabel Deshayes. Meet at the Baytown side of the Tunnel no later than 8:00 a.m. Birding will be in the Cove area, and this time it doesn't dast rain! October 29 Audubon Screen Tour by Karl H. Maslowski: "Earthquake Lake" Please note that this is the only tour that will be held at Sidney Lanier Junior High School. November 10 At the regular meeting of the Outdoor Nature Club Orrin H. Bonney will speak on "Mountain climbing." November 14 Overnight Outdoor Nature Club field trip to the canyon country. Leonard McWhirter will lead the trip. November 19 Our very own Dr. Ernest P. Edwards will give a Museum of Natural History film-lecture program based on his two museum expeditions. And who says a prophet is unappreciated in his own country.
