When you go out to West Harris Co., check in bushes along fences for the Groove-billed Anl, an early arrival was seen on Clay Rd., on the 30th of Sept. This Is the month to start looking for early arrivals In the sparrow family, 2 early Sharp-tailed sparrows were seen on the 26th, and a probable Lincoln's on the 30th of Sept. ** The following trips should have been included in COMING EVENTS, but notification arrived too late for inclusion on that page. Victor Emanuel and his Nature Tours have two trips coming up: Oct. 30 — Nov. 7, Big Bend-Davis Mountains trip.
