Transcript PRIZE WIMUVG KITCHEN HOME Housewives will love the parade home at 5139 Jackwood. Its outstanding feature is the kitchen, which has won the Woman's Home Companion magazine kitchen award. The award was given for exceptionally fine arrangement of work space. The kitchen has a Chambers built-in oven and range and Youngstown cabinets. It is located off the dining room, separated from the family room by a serving bar. Built by Paul H. Wolf, the home was designed by Womack and Mount and is constructed of pink Mexican brick with large expanses of glass. It has two outdoor areas and a private bedroom wing. A brick wall across part of the front shelters a planting area just outside the master bedroom. To the right of the wall is the living room which has a glassed-in gable at the front and a large plate glass window on the side overlooking the planting area. The living room and family room flow together, with an open truss beam ceiling running the length of the area. This section can be separated by folding doors. It is especially designed for a family that enjoys entertaining as the two rooms can be made into one large room. This arrangement is not usually found in a house of this size. The family room is paneled in plywood and has a cork floor and glass sliding doors onto an enclosed patio. A hall off the family room and foyer leads to three bedrooms and two baths. The hall bath has twin dressing tables, a full length mirror and recessed lighting. The master bedroom has its own bath and walk-in closet. A two-car garage is located beyond the enclosed terrace and has a utility room and storage space. This home is equipped with Servel dual air-conditioning. Landscape Design by Ralph H. Cobb PAUL H.
