Transcript Women's Suffrage Leaders in the United States Susan B. Anthony, 1820-1906, was the organizer of the National Woman Suffrage Association. She lectured and campaigned widely advocating giving women the right to vote. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, 1815-1902, organized the Woman s Rights Convention at Seneca Falls, N.Y. in 1848 and was the first president of the National Woman Suffrage Association. Carrie Chapman Catt, 1859-1947, was one of the women's suffrage leaders in the campaign resulting in adaption of the 19th amendment to the Constitution in 1920. Lucretm Mott, 1793-1880, was associated with Elizabeth Cady Stanton in calling the Seneca Falls Woman's Rights Convention. She also was active in the antislavery movement.
