Transcript MosCon V Progress Report 1 CHAIRWOMAN'S MESSAGE-BETH FINKBINER MosCon 5 has begun to move from the "Let's worry about it some day" stage to the "Long term niggily worry " stage. That means that it's almost time for the prints to run out and the membership price to go up. Our Guests of Honor; Frank Kelly Freas, Fritz Lieber and Georges Giguere, will provide up with a memorable con. It has always been MosCon policy to limit membership to 500 people. Our hotel can handle no more. This year we may have to enforce that limit. Please be sure that you don't get left out. This progress report is crammed with everything that we could possibly think of to include, but if you have any questions, write, if you send a self addressed stamped envelope along it will speed thing up. MOSCON 4 REPORT- JON GUSTAFSON MosCon 4 was a great success, with the most people attending ever. Our guests, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jane Fancher (representing Wendy Pini) and Steve Forty gave our members some of the best programming we've had yet. Jane Fancher's slide show on Wendy Plni's art turned into a standing-room-only event. MZB's panels attracted and pleased people and she gave an excellent speech at the Sunday morning brunch. Steve Forty was everywhere, and made friends of everyone he talked to. MosCon came so close to zero problems this year that it was almost scary. The staff at Cavanaugh's Motor Inn did their usual fine job and oesenve the reputation they have as one of the best con hotels in the Northwest. And one last hearty round of thanks to the people who made MosCon 4 a success; The ConCom. Thank you a[[ very much for your help. You made it possible. HOTEL INFORMATION MosCon 5 will be held as usual at Cavanaugh's Motor Inn, 645 Pullman Road, Moscow, I da ho. To reserve a room for MosCon and for information concerning room rates please call them at 208-882-1611. MosCon always conflicts with a football game (we've got 2 universities within ten miles) so get your reservation in as early as possible. Remember, Cavanaugh's has no halls, so please plan alternatives to the usual hall parties. Perhaps you'd like to stockpile binoculars and conduct farm- impliment-watching parties instead. JEFF SELLS W/3OT m*& MEMBERSHIPS-JEFF HALBHUBER Howdy. Jeffs my name and membership's my game. Better send your money in quick if you want this year's print. Memberships are up close to 100 now, so only 50 are left. Memberships are still ten bucks, but on March 1st they rise to $12(US). C'mon now. Ten bucks is ten bucks but 12 bucks is more. So let's go! Buy one for the 01' Gipper. PS You get a really nifty button for helping out at registration, so let me know if you want to help.
