Transcript 4 KATHLEEN SKY studied veterinary medicine, but did not receive her degree because she found that what she really wanted to major in was eclecticism, and has yet to find a university offering such a degree. She has also studied medieval history, mortuary science, English, Hebrew, judaic philosophy, costume design and interior decorating. She has three novels to her credit, of which the latest is "Vulcanl,ff an original Star Trek novel (Bantam). She has just finished writing a second Star Trek novel, ,fDeathfs Angel, " after which she expects to be working on a fantasy series called fThe Witchdame Trilogy." Her major effort will be an epic work spanning 500 years of future Jewish history. BJO & JOHN TRIMBLE: The Trimbles, who will em cee the 1979 Fantasy Faire, have been Involved in science fiction for many years, first as fans and then as promoters of conventions, such as Equicon and Pilmcon. They also sponsored a letter writing campaign to persuade Paramount that they should continue the Star Trek series. It is very probable that this campaign helped keep the re-runs going which led to the making of the forthcoming movie, in which Bjo makes an appearance. EVANGELINE WALTON: We have been informed that Ms. Walton plans to attend this years1 Fantasy Faire. Unfortunately, confirmation came too late to come up with much information about her. We do know that she is originally from Indiana &M that Arkham published her book "Witch House" in 1945. Other books published by Ballantine are "The Island of the Mighty" and 'The Children of Llyr," epic fcmtasles based on Welsh mythology. LUCY CHASE WILLIAMS has been&csociated with s. 1 and fantasy since she ran a weekly film series called 'Things that Go Bump in the Night" during her college days at Yale University. Relocated from the Midwest to sunny/srnoggy Calif, two years ago, she is now the American representative for "The Friends of Tom Baker, " the actor's authorized British club. She is also co-founder of "The Gallifreyan Irregulars, " a club devoted to making Dr. Who the biggest thing in the Universe and beyond. In her spare time, Lucy has a legitimate job in film production. 15
