Films such as BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, CAPRICORN ONE, SATURN 3, ALIEN, MAROONED, 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY, STAR WARS, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS, STAR-TREK - THE MOTION PICTURE, ETC ETC. TV PROGRAMMES, such as SPACE 1999, DR WHO, BLAKE'S 7, UFO, INVADERS, PROJECT UFO, SPACE ACADEMY, QUARK, ONE STEP BEYOND, SPACE FAMILY ROBINSON, STAR TREK, TIMESLIP, TIME TUNNEL, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE, plus of course celebrities from each of the series or films appearing in person or on Video tape in special interviews based on your questions. Societies and Organisations, Fan groups and publications will be available for your inspection on their own special stand areas. Models galore from full scale X-Wing fighter, R2D2, C3P0, Tardis, Land Speeder. NASA space craft and ESA displays. Plus special features such as the bridge of the Enterprise, Dr Who and his adventures setting. Also displays by the societies on each of their subjects, Astronautics, Science Fiction, Astronomy, UFOfs. Fancy Dress with fantastic prizes, in fact every kind of spin off you can imagine. We expect to present a visual effect second to none - using the excellent facilities of the Wembley Conference Centre. Laser light shows, Computers, participation space games. Market areas well- stocked with everything you could possibly think of. The cost, well we have given this a great deal of thought and realising that this v/ould be every Convention/special event/Film Show/TV Show/Theatre/Fun Fair/Fete rolled into one, and that most of you going to SEACON have already paid in 1979 £9-£ll for a 4 day event. The price was set at £3 per day for single day visitors and for the Enthusiast who would like to literally escape into this world of Fantasy £12 for the whole seven days. Hotel Accomodation, special luncheons etc will be advised to our V.I.P. Enthusiasts who have paid £12. This includes T-Shirt, Button Badge, Souvenir Programme, admission to all areas of SPACE-EX 84 (Barring staff Areas and ISTRA Organisers offices). Special issue of First Day Stamp Covers will be available at a special Stamp Booth. You will be able to have your photograph taken with a Celebrity. Posters, Films, Video Tapes, Records, Slides, Models, Stills, Paintings, toys and games will all be available to the VIP's with a special discount, not available to day visitors. Each year the price for VIP Tickets will rise up until 1980 it will be £12, after that 1981 will be £15, 1982 will be £17, 1983 up until the event £21. Limited number of tickets V.I.P. are available. First 100 received receive special commemorative medallion.
