Transcript mm r«NK WWmmm '^m^m^^^^^^^^^m SIXTH WORLD FANTASY CONVENTION On Halloween weekend (October 31, November 1 and 2, 1980), the SIXTH WORLD FANTASY CONVENTION will be held at the Marriott-Hunt Valley Inn in Baltimore, Maryland. On this special weekend we will honor the literary heritage of Edgar Allen Poe. JACK VANCE is Guest of Honor BORIS VALLEJO is Special Artist Guest ROBERT BLOCH is Master of Ceremonies The World Fantasy Convention traditionally attracts a lion's share of authors and artists, agents and editors, publishers and printers. Many of those professionals who have attended past years' conventions have indicated an interest in returning for this year's celebration. Chairmen: Chuck Miller and Tim Underwood Halloween October 31, November 1 and 2, 1980 Marriott-Hunt Valley Inn 1-83 at Shawan Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland 21031 Programming The Sixth World Fantasy Convention will feature perceptive panels on aspects of fantasy literature. Also, with the influence of Edgar Allen Poe and the presence of "Edgar" award winner Jack Vance we will explore the crossover between fantasy and mystery.
