Transcript guest i JOHN AGAR: Versatile motion picture and television actor John Agar is well known for his action roles. He has also appeared in many sf films including "journey to the Seventh Planet, '■ "Tne Rocket Man, " and his own favorite, 'Tarantula.1" NINA BARA: After leaving "Space Patrol" and the role of Tonga, Nina married Ray Linke, a businessman, and they have an eleven year old daughter. Nina, now known as Frances Linke, spent fourteen years in night school to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree from UCLA and a Master of Science in Library Science at OSC. She's head librarian of the Blue Cross Library of Southern California. She has written and published a book, the first of a trilogy, about the Space Patrol Series. *. MARION ZIMMER BRADLEY has been writing since childnood and began selling to pulp magazines in 1953. She has written over thirty novels—13 Darkover novels and the fantasy-horror novels Dark Satanic and Drums of Darkness. She has recently sold a mainstream novel about a family of trapeze flyers, The Catch Trap to be published in hard covers in May by Saliantine, Her novel Hunters of the Bed Moon has been sold to an independent film producer. She is married, has three children, lives in Berkeley and is always at work on another novel. JOHN CHAMBERS won an Oscar in 1969. In the entire 40 year history of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences this was only the second time the golden statuette was awarded for make-up artistry. He has performed make-up on hundreds of tv programs and feature motion pictures, including the popular "Planet of the Apes" series. In a much greater sense, he has done an immense amount of humanitarian work, such as supplying artificial ears, noses, etc., to victims of accidents and war. After reading his biography/ it is very easy to understand why Mr. John Chambers has been selected for a Star in the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, an event which will occur in November of this year, BOB CLAMPETT was long associated with Warner Bros, cartoons. He has worked on Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies, Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, etc. As an independent producer Bob*s first tv show "Time for Beany*' won three Emmys. A later animated series, "Beany and Cecil the Sea Sick Sea Serpent" ran.on ABC for seven years. Bob Clampett was recently honored with a special tribute staged by the Cinematheque Francaise in Paris and was presented with alifetime membership to the fiim society and a section of the museum will display some classic pieces of artwork and animation from the Bob Clampett collection. Bob will be presenting the Bob Clampett Film Animation Award at the Fantasy Faire. Page 6
